General Accountant

OVERVIEW:

Wahl Vietnam is a subsidiary of Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of General Accountant.

Through strong teamwork, collaboration and leadership, the mission of the role is to provide analysis and financial management assistance to Wahl VN Finance Team by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.

ABOUT THE JOB:

• Ensuring the staff following all Compliances, Company policies and Procedures on time and accurate.
• Ensuring that financial statement are in accordance with VAS/Company policies/ Tax regulation.
• Preparing the management reports in monthly/quarterly/ yearly based on request from line manager.
• Completely the reconciliation of Trail Balance, Indicate data errors and propose the solution to Finance Manager.
• Work with SBV and Lender for loan Docs needed.
• Capex projects control, Setup procedure for Fixed Assets counting and physical control.
• Ability to manage, train and develop Accounting staff, work and coordinate well with other Dept.
• Ability to collect, synthesize and analyze Financial and Accounting data.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems related to accounting department.
• Ability to manage information data, report and provide good financial information.
• Skilled in preparing and analyzing financial reports.
• Good presentation, communication, persuasion and diplomatic skills
• Good knowledge of tax policies, tax refund procedures, explanations to tax authorities, etc..
• Work closely with internal company for the detail of transaction and ending balance confirmation.
• Managing Fixed Assets, prepayment allocation monthly, accrual expenses and complete the cost for month end closing.
Perform other tasks to be request by line Manager and Managing Director.

REQUIREMENTS

University or master's degree in accounting/Finance or related subjects;
More than 7 years working experience in accounting/ finance field
Experience on system of AX, SAP, preferably experience in manufacturing
from automotive, consumer durable or FMCG industry, auditing experience
from Big4 is a PLUS;
o ACCA, CIMA / CMA or CPA qualification is major advantage
o At least 3 years at Sr. Accountant level
o Costing experience preferred

Bilingual in English & Vietnamese with
Fluency (Negotiation Level)
Experience in Cost accounting & finance
controlling, MS Office
Excellent analytical skill ,result-oriented,
logically thinking, proactive
Willing to step out of comfort Zone
