Global Product Marketing Specialist

The Global Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing comprehensive and successful product marketing launches across communication channels for Wahl Professional (Barber/Beauty and Groomer). This role works with various internal teams, including product management, creative, legal, and regional marketing to establish product positioning and on-brand creative. This role is urgently requested to support a growing list of new product marketing needs and processes, and to ensure on-time and high-quality launches globally.

This role reports directly to the Global Brand Manager and has no direct reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work closely with the global brand manager and global product managers to identify differentiated product positioning and messaging, creative direction, launch plans, and timing to ensure successful product launches aligned to business goals.
• Attend product and cross-functional meetings to add "the voice of brand" to new product development
• Collaborate with product management, creative, and regional marketing teams through product development phase to coordinate timely product marketing campaigns
• Partner with global and regional marketing teams to develop go-to-market plans for new product launches
• Proactively identify global asset needs for full-funnel global product campaigns
• Brief internal and external creative teams to deliver high-quality content for use across regions and communication channels
• Assist in developing internal product launch materials, including product collateral, presentations, and sales tools, to support sales and marketing efforts globally.
• Develops internal presentations to provide transparency and excitement of new product
• Lead product packaging process - work with global marketing and product teams to develop compelling copy, brief creative development, substantiate claims with product development and legal, facilitate final approvals through Web Center.
• Provide final proof-reading and coordinate the review of product specifications for high-quality and accurate product
• Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform product marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
• Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to drive product launch

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a product marketing or related role.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Proven ability to think strategically and analytically, with a results-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with marketing analytics tools is preferred.
• Passion for the barber and beauty industry is a plus.
