Import - Export Specialist

Wahl Vietnam a subsidiary of Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Import - Export Specialist.

Reporting: Senior Manager of Supply Chain - Sourcing - Finance

Responsibilities:

Inbound logistic (ex-work term):

• Receive shipping request, document from suppliers
• Define forwarder, shipping mode
• Verify shipping document, get confirmation from Buyer
• Confirm pick up to supplier
• Prepare custom document
• Update shipment status to supply planning team
• Verify logistic bill/ invoice
• Make payment request to Finance

Outbound logistic (ex-work term):

• Receive Delivery Order from Customer Service
• Contact customer's forwarder and arrange pickup schedule
• Communicate with warehouse for loading plan
• Create Sale Order
• Pick and Pack Sale Order
• Prepare custom document
• Consolidate and file shipping document to Finance
• Send shipping document to customer
• Update shipping document to web track (for US customer only)
• Cooperate with Production Plan to advise monthly container plan (for US customer only)

Other logistic tasks:

• Processing Contract liquidation
• Import Tax refund quarterly
• Yearly custom liquidation report
• Inbound/ Outbound for sample, MRO, etc. (non-BOM goods)
• Logistic cost management and improvement

Qualifications:

• University/College degree
• At least 2 years of experience in similar position in manufacturing environment
• Understand inbound & outbound process.
• Have experience with ERP system.
• Ability to deal with number, develop management report.
• Good at planning and controlling.
