Maintenance Supervisor

Wahl Vietnam a subsidiary of Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Maintenance Supervisor.

Reporting: Wahl Vietnam's Senior Operations Manager

Missions:

To lead electrical/electronic maintenance for the machinery & equipment in Plant & Utilities, as well as leading facilities maintenance activities and assist in automation engineering projects in the area of assignment, e.g., mechanical, electrical, electronics, software application while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised.

Responsibilities:

Equipment Management

• Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical/mechanical equipment, components, and installations.
• Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
• Ensure that equipment is in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities.
• Assist in new Investments & carry out Installation of fresh electrical/mechanical components and fittings.
• Supervise electrical/mechanical works when new projects are undertaken.
• Regular monitoring of energy costs and water consumption, opening project to support the reduction in consumption.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services.
• Maintain daily 5S in the workshop.
• Daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/ task assignment and management to the technician team.
• Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.
• Should be able to implement lean tools used in PM.
• Working with EVN for solving electrical issues.
• Involving in the plant system audits where required.
• Prepare and control the budget plan for Maintenance, Electricity & Water system.
• Ensure the compliance of Lean, 5S, SHE on the relevant tasks.

Sparepart Management

• Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company's electrical/mechanical equipment
• Regularly monitoring the inventory, comparing system vs physical
• Keep a track on spare part consumption and replenishment on time.

Maintenance KPI Monitoring (Knowledge on these KPIs is nice to have)

• Hrs of equipment downtime
• Cost of maintenance
• MTTR
• MTBF
• Breakdown reports
• Other necessary reports related to maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Working experience on equipment maintenance more than 8 -10 years.
  
• Relative technical university/ college.
• Electrical/Mechanical degree.
• PLC knowledge (Experience in PLC: editing, problem solving and modification).
• Experience in PLC (SIEMENS S7, Profibus, MISHUBISHI, Allen Bradley, OMRON...)
• Knowledge on type of maintenance (CBM, PM, BDM, TBM....)
• Knowledge on maintenance management software is nice to have.
• Bilingual skills in Vietnamese & English.
• Ability to manage a technical technician team.
