Production Engineer

Reporting: Wahl Vietnam's Production Assistant Manager

Missions:

To manage production processes to ensure that they are efficient, EHS compliance, cost-effective, and produce high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Process Management and Improvement: Manage existing manufacturing processes (plan, manpower, expenditures, etc.) to achieve production target
• Quality Control: Ensuring that products meet quality standards. This includes setting up online quality-control procedures and monitoring production to maintain high standards.
• Equipment Management: participate in the installation, maintenance, and optimal performance of equipment and machinery. This includes troubleshooting issues and performing preventative actions.
• Data Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Management to drive continuous improvement and ensure production goals are met.
• Training and Mentoring: Training production staff on operations/processes/ equipment and ensuring that safety and quality standards are adhered to.
• Project Management: Participate in relevant projects (Capex, OPex, Improvement, etc.) to ensure their deadlines are met with achieved targets.
• Technical Support: Providing technical support and guidance to the production team to solve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• WOS: Participant in relevant production WOS activities like AM, PM, TQM, etc.
• Other jobs assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Working experience in production and / or engineering function, at least 3 years.
• Relative technical university/ college bachelor degree (Majoring in Mechanical / Electrical / Automation preferred)
• Factory environment experience MUST.
• ISO 9001: 20015/ WCM system preferred.
• Can communicate well in English & Vietnamese.
