Supply Chain Manager

Wahl India a subsidiary of Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Supply Chain Manager for our Mumbai office.

Reporting: Head-Supply Chain Wahl India.

Purpose:

Drive supply chain strategy and operations to ensure superior customer satisfaction by focusing on quality, delivery, and cost alignment with business plans and the company's core values.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies; plan strategically and translate strategy into operational roadmaps, deploying resources efficiently while pushing for results that aligned with business plan, core values and compliance with legal regulations.
• Analyse sales forecasts and launch strategies to assess the impact on material requirements, cash flow, or other potential constraints.
• Manage all facets of supply chain management including planning, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, forecasting and sourcing, inventory control, and financial costing, as necessary for JIT (Just in Time) goods support to Company.
• Direct the activities of all functions involved in the planning, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and control of goods from the receipt of forecasting replenishment needs to the delivery of the finished product into finished goods inventory and delivery of products to customers.
• Manage inventory and establish controls to ensure the Company is operating at the highest level of performance based on performance metrics and minimized supply risk.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
• Develop and continuously improve supplier programs; design and implementation of new supply chain system functionality and optimize its use.
• Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts.
• Identify situations/ opportunities/ issues/ market conditions and economic indicators, including upcoming contract expirations and plan actions to realize cost reductions and process improvements on an ongoing basis.
• Own new product planning processes from a supply chain management perspective to ensure timely acquisitions of materials and production planning control to support product launches/ re-launches.
• Provide continuous improvements and optimization of inventory investment while delivering customer service "fill rates" that meet or exceed established targets.
• Manage vendor relationships, auditors, and customs authorities. Liaise with relevant government authorities pertaining to supply chain matters.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets.
• Maintain ad-hoc reports for management review on a periodical basis.

Other Responsibilities under E-commerce / Modern Trade:

• Manage appointments, vendor portal, orders, and master data for customers like Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance, etc.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders (Customer, Warehouse, Billing team, Logistics, Finance, Purchase, Service and management) in a timely manner.
• Monitor production and stock availability at all warehouses for e-commerce customers like Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, Reliance, and other sellers.
• Manage RTVs (Return to vendors) and disputes.
• Understand last-mile delivery and reverse logistics.
• Plan and formulate Cloudtail and Flipkart delivery schedules at the Pan-India level.
• Coordinate with the logistic team for stock dispatch from the factory to the customer warehouse on time.
• Implement Supply chain practice and framework for seamless launches on Amazon & Flipkart.
• Check the fill rate and CCF of purchase order.
• Record keeping and data management.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree with relevant supply chain experience.
• 10+ years of practical experience in Supply Chain and 5 years as a Supply Chain Manager desired in FMCG.
• Excellent data analysis and forecasting capabilities.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving approach.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Hands-on experience with supply chain management ERP system
